Penn State Altoona’s Ivyside Eats food pantry is still operating and helping students who are facing food insecurity, no matter where they are currently located.
About 50 participants took part in games and a frozen T-shirt challenge, met Bear E. White, and snacked on pizza and snow cones. A total of $7,027 was raised for Penn State Altoona's Ivyside Eats food pantry.
Due to potentially dangerous winter weather conditions and water temperatures, the Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, Penn State Altoona Winter Plunge has been moved from Canoe Creek to the Slep Student Center on campus.
